Co-op versus Academic Credit

Revised: Fri May 16/03

CO-OP versus ACADEMIC CREDIT

Dear Co-op Students:

A few people that I spoke to recently were confused regarding how the "co-op work term units" fit into their degree requirements. "Co-op work term units" do not count as electives towards the degree requirements for your academic plan (e.g., Honours Psych Co-op, Honours Psych and Applied Studies Co-op, etc.). The degree requirements consist only of "non work term units." That is, the degree requirements consist only of courses.
