Research Facilities

Facilities for both laboratory and field research are excellent at Waterloo. A suite of cubicle rooms and several larger rooms are dedicated to laboratory research in I/O Psychology. We also have a common computer lab and work area for applied projects.

In addition, faculty in the I/O area group have joined together with faculty from the department of Management Sciences and the School of Accountancy in creating a "Mobile Experimental Behavioural Laboratory". Funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation New Opportunities Fund, the mobile lab will include 24 notebook computers equipped with state-of-the-art software and hardware. This infrastructure will enable cutting-edge research that maximizes the generalizabilty of findings to real world employees, as well as afford substantial experimental control by bringing the laboratory to the employees.
