The ECEC has an extensive volunteer program. We welcome volunteers from the University community who enjoy young children and wish to gain experience working with children. Volunteers usually commit to one morning or one afternoon a week depending on their schedule. Morning is from 8:45-11:45 a.m. and afternoon is from 12:45-3:45 p.m.

Volunteers are required to complete a few items before they can begin. A volunteer application form will need to be completed outlining your availability. A record of your immunizations will be recorded on a medical form and any outdated or missing immunizations will need to be obtained. Volunteers must have a police reference check completed, attend an orientation session and read the Centre's Policies and Procedures. We suggest that volunteers begin the process well before the start of the term in order to be ready to work with the children promptly when the term begins.
